multiple back links on a page

hi,

i just wrote an article that i submitted for ditribution through ideamarketers.com. In the article i have a few images that i am serving up from my domain so i thought i would make links back to my own website out of them. the result is 6 links in very close proximity to each other that link back to my URL with different keyword phrases in the alt text.
the question i have is:
does anyone have experience in a situation like this and will search engines consider that type of density spamming?
