    Generally no.

The nuances of local traffic may be different but since that isn't your targeted audience it isn't anything to be concerned about.

If you are wanting to target Indian users, then get it on a server in India!

So if you want to believe that, then why did you waste out time by asking the question here?

It doesn't work that way. Geo-targeting wouldn't work then.

    Links do!

So does that mean if he had a website on USA server and change to an Indian server it won't affect rankings ? I Agree that links will make a difference but changing the server location will somehow affect the rankings, keeping in mind that the server speed and page load time is as good as the previous one or not. If its not then one can face change in ranking but not a total dropback on the current rankings. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Hello
maybe. just look forward to use a dedicated IP to stop achieving signals from other sites (maybe spam sites) on your hosting. and yeah, host on your target country.

Just 'moving' a website from one server to another won't make any effect on your ranks. However make sure your new host is reliable and is not affected by frequent downtime, coz that will have a detrimental effect on your ranks

I've changed hosts alot with no significant changes in rankings. I had same cpanel databases transferred so everything was the same. Though, try finding a host that is much faster, will help your rankings alot.

As far as i know.. it won't effect on ranking until you change the content of your website. So it'll be fine if your just shifting to a new host but if you changing your content too or any other change to your website that yes it may effect on your website's rank.

If you look at the cached page, it shows the last crawled date for pages. Supplemental pages are often older, and haven’t been visited as recently. I’d be happy to see examples if you wanted though.
