Does anyone know if mod_gzip will screw with google reading my site?
I know that /. still has a high PR, so i dont know if it matters. ANy thoughts / experience? |

It should be no problem for google, or any other spider at all. as for PR, that is generally derived by links from other sites. mod_gzip can safely be thought of as 100% safe in all situations, even for the oldest and crappiest browers. Hell it even works with Microsoft Internet Explorer

I was pretty sure in theory it would work, just wondered it it did in practice.
I shouldn't have said PR, should have said ranking(in general). I need to enable it regardless, but still makes me happy it wont hurt anything. |
