live help
Do you think those live help programs for websites help or annoy customers?

I find it annoying. I hate going to a site and a winder pops up in front of me and says Hi can I help you? I leave immediately.

agree with flawebworks, but I think it can't hurt if you have a live help button that can be clicked on. As long as it is non-intrusive but easy to find, it is a good thing. Anything that makes your site easier to use and doesn't detract from the main purpose has got to be a positive.

definately. people hate obtrusive help popups.
like that little paperclip in word. I hate that. Do you want me to 1 help you with your document 2 mess everything up 3 piss you off 4 or just piss off and die. option 4 i think just have a discreet little help button in the top right, same as the windows interface. |

Funny you should say that, i was on a domain site the other day which did that, blah "May i help you?" and I thought i'll wind them up and ask them about SSL Certificates (which they do sell) and no one replied back, so i left the site... Dan |
