Links on different domain vs. different IP??
Is there a difference between Links on different domain vs. different IP??
In other words, what if you have links from 2 different domains, but they are on the same IP? Will they be devalued? |

only Google / Yahoo! / Teoma know how much they devalue stuff, but it is well believed by many that links on the same C block IP address are deweighted.

What is a 'C Block' exactly?

If you have an ip, like: 111.222.333.444
333 is the C-block. What this means is if the 111.222.333 part of both IPs in the link (source and destination) match, then the link is not worth as much. |

try getting backlinks from seperate IP's it really does help.
Plus you may find that doing the research you can get better quality sites to link to you and increase your traffic.

I agree,
it takes more time and effort to do that but works better. Too bad some sites require a backlink from the same domain, or rather .. their scripts do.
