Linking Page Question

Hello ALL!

So I have a client, whom I am working on a project for. Now they hired an entire copywriting team to help out with this project.

Without my knowledge, they created a links.html page, which I indicated is a BIG NO NO!

Two Questions I have:

1. Other then calling your links pages resources.html or partners.html anyone have any other ideas for a name for this type of section where link partners would be contained?

2. How deep can the resources/links page be? Is it best for it to link right from the homepage? Is it ok if it's contained inside a Tools Directory?

My pages links_keyword.xxx do show but not links_a-z.xxx for example... use the 1st one.


I link it from the homepage and others to send enough PR to it so it's at least PR4 to make it interesting to get a link on it.

We do something very similar, as far as page names there are alot of possibilities online_partners, relationships.* etc.. just do some stemming off the word.

naming the page...
make it something specific to your industry or site topic.
after all...these links should all be related.

if you sell boating supplies....
call it "boat enthusiasts and boating sites"
hit some keywords in the page name.
