I know it is commonly frowned upon, but I have a client who needs a drastic increase in rankings in just 2 months.

A variety of industries isnt very specific, if they are porn, phram or gambling related you will have a very hard time, if they are less racy its easy. However 2 months is expecting a little much I think, give your self 3 at least, tell the client no matter what it cant be done in 2, that way you have room to breath

Efforts should be there.
