Keywords to start a war for!

Uhmm... Stupid Question but I am having a really hard-hard time deciding what keywords to target. My Forums are a General marketing Forums [ Mainly focusing on other techniques rather than SEO ... Hehe. You must have guessed that from my question ].

internet marketing 722.0 /day
And a really Really Absurd amount of comptition. So no need to compete on this tem as of now...

The other keyword ->

forums marketing 18.0 /day
forums marketing uk 16.0 /day
internet marketing forums 10.0 /day

Gee..... Isn't it too less ?

Now the question is -> Can Someone suggest the keywords that I should Fight for?

Why dont u use Google's Keyword Suggestion tool to target your keywords ???

Amit , actually I did do it... I used Digital Point's Tools for it but the keywords that I used were either too comptitive or very low traffic...

I think I will be going with some niche keywords and using Mini Sited for SEO .Thanks for your help though!

you'll have a very tough time to compete in general marketing. try to be more specific - real estate marketing, sports marketing and etc.

As a person in your situation at one point, I started targetting the generic terms (as listed here) and failed. Like dejaone says, you need to think niche keywords first, then when you have some rank power behind you, change focus to higher traffic phrases.

Don't build the pyramid with the pointed top piece first. Start with the bottom pieces first and build your way up.
