Hi All,
I want to track the keywords people use to find my site.Is there any software that can help me? also with that will i be able to decide on my most important keywords? Any Tips? Thanx in advance |

You need to download your log files from your host then use a software package to analyse them - a log analyser.
As for the most important, those will be the ones which bring you the highest ROI. |

Some website stat checkers keep track of the keywords used to find your site. Most stats checkers only show the last 20 SE queries, so you'd be checking your stats all day ;) but I use (a.o.) checkstat.nl which has quite a long memory for keywords.

thanx for the help. Wit can you plz tell me where can i get checkstat.nl i mean how do i register to it.I did try to get info from the web stats but its all in very crude form n beyond my comprehension. |

I think the english (translated) version can be found at www.checkstat.com . But I'm sure there are similar ones. I only use that one in particular because I'm dutch.
Please note that you can use a stats checker (on your home page for example) to track future SE queries' keywords, but it could be nice to have a look at the data from the past. So if you can, get hold of the logs and a 'log analyser' to give you something to start with. |
