Keyword discovery- a keyword research tool

i just went through this tool and found it good one but i have some query:

    1. what search engine result it displays?
    2. how much old data/result it displays?

pls tell me so that i can decide the best keywords.

It seems to be a nice tool, but I don't like the fact that I couldn't find anywhere on that site the periods of time for which the returned results are available.

It reports the previous 12 months worth of search data, so I would think that if you did a search in September 07, it would show volume for August 06 to August 07 (maybe even July 06 to July 07)...

and it looks at over 180 search engines...

I find their figures way too low... but it is good in giving you an idea if there is search volume for a keyword.
