This is tricky. A site currently has lots of dofollow links (actually 99% of all its external links) but the number of linking root domains is very small, and the number of dofollow linking root domains is even smaller.
I learned that the ratio of dofollow vs nofollow links should be balanced otherwise it could be very suspicious to Google. I also know that there should be a greater number of linking root domains (obviously many of the dofollow links came from the same domains - which reduces the value of the links).
But which do I prioritize of the two? Are my thoughts even on the right track?
Any feedback will be highly appreciated.
