I did this with some of my sites years ago. Had to redirect my old pages to my WP site. Don't remember seeing any significant losses.

There are plugins that will allow you to keep your same URLs if you wish. But it's also a good time to improve your URLs if you are up for making redirects.

When you are changing a website's tech you should not ideally lose anything as long as you have the same content, same urls, and same navigation. When these change you will see an impact on your rankings and traffic for sure.
There are some things to pay attention to when you move to migrate to wordpress
    1. Make sure you keep the URLs intack or 301 redirect all old urls to new URLs
    2. Use an SEO friendly lightweight theme and do not load too many plugins. Normally wordpress themes come with a lot of js and css files and these make the system sites heavy. So watch out for that. Being a general software it has something for everyone, and unless customized properly they tend to have too many overheads.
    3. Secure your website with a sitelock or similar software.
    4. Maintain your internal linking or site navigation as much as possible. If you are improving them with WordPress, well that is a welcome change.
    5. Keep a tab on category, tag, attachment pages as they tend to blow out of control sometimes and we have to force de-index them.

    I think it will.
It's not only the URL structure and 301 redirection.
You also need to make the on-page SEO same with the old page.
Since you have changed the old site to wp, and they may have different theme structure, such as title, meta, h1, h2 and other elements , it will change and this may impact the SEO result .

Keep URLs the same wherever possible. You will suffer about a 15% loss of pagerank through a 301
