I frame ???

Here's the situation... I have page with an iframe in it, inside the iframe is an swf with copyable text inside the swf. Does google crawl this text or can it not get inside of it? Also does the iframe effect this in anyway?
thanks for the replies in advance.

Yes to Google being able to parse the info/links.

In your current configuration [the way you explain it] the iFrame serves not purpose... it doesn't harm nor does it help... it's a non-issue/non-event

So goolge does does crawl the info in the swf. It just seems that when i search for keywords in the swf and our company name i'm no where to be found. My thought was to copy the text in the swf and put it on the page with links ect. This will hurt me though cause then it would be tought as duplicate content. That's my look on it. am i on point or out in left field? thanks for the replies again in advance.

Even text on a html page doesn't rank if no links.

thanks for the info! I wasn't aware of that. I thought that if the text was there than the spider would take in all that info even if there wasn't links in it! thanks again.

I'm just really nervous about copying this text out of these swf and being cut off because of duplicate content. There is no links inside this text and i can't add them. It is from a third party and they control it but we have paid to use their content. To see an example of what i'm taking about so i don't confuse here's the link http://understand.com/plastic.aspx and click on view 3d web library on the left.

thanks again!
