I am a newbie to SEO and want to clarify some issues..

Is there any syntax to write the keywords?
for ex:- if i want to write a keyword for "diamond stones watches from Emporio Armani.
How we will write? "diamond-stones-watches" is this way of writing is right? or

Ask your self - does it make sense? And that is about all you need to do. If the answer is no then don't use it, if the answer is yes, then go ahead.
Also, I think you might be asking about writing keywords in the URL. If so, use a descriptive and concise name and again that is all.
The days of a particular format are gone. Sure there are some general trends and accepted standards but that is pretty old school now. The key is relevance and diversification.

There is no specific syntax for writing keywords, Google is smart enough to track keywords from your webpage and determine what your page is all about.
If you are asking for using keyword in URL then using hyphen - for differentiating your keywords is considered as a good practice, and if you are asking for analyzing keyword for your website then you will find google adwords tool helpful.

Thanking you very much for your reply...just i want to know the general practice of keyword writing.
I got confused in writing...if the keyword is only one word,no problem we will write directly(i have to write this key at Product level).
If the Keyword contains two words, then we have to use space or - in between(emporio-armani-diamond-stones-watches)?
or can we write "emporio armani diamond stones watches"---??

If you still answering this, get ready to get hit by Google Panda again. Google will only increase the page rank of a website that is using natural language and words for its content. If you still want to use keywords approach, I think you should stop because Google algorithm will change anytime. With one update in its algorithm, you website can be wiped out from google page rank if you are using suspicious method to get higher rank.

we can not judge every user who will search for the particular niche but we can think like simple user who wants any product or service and what he will type for that is the effective keyword selecting practice for proper keyword.

what you just wrote resembles more to a URL. e.g Example Domain
Make sure that the keywords that are going to be added within the content of the website, make sense.
Avoid keyword stuffing.
Make sure that the quota in keyword density is ok. How to do that?
SEO Book --> Free Keyword Density Analyzer Tool
Web SEO Analytics --> Keyword Analyzer - Keyword Analysis Tool - Free SEO Tools - Web SEO Analytics
