If you do not already have an in depth knowledge, research your topic thoroughly so you know what you are writing/talking about. It's no good trying to blag your way though as it will be obvious that is what you are doing.
Also make sure you're text is proof read and has no spelling mistakes or poor grammar as this quickly loses your credibility, and ultimately the trust of the reader.

Research - no one can write good content off the top of their head, no matter how knowledgeable they may be about the subject.
Put yourself in the place of the reader - what do they want to see? What do they need to know? How does your content help them?
Be compelling - If you're bored writing it, they'll be bored reading it (and they won't hesitate to click the 'back' button). No matter what your topic is, you have to make it fresh, unique, and interesting.

tayloredideas, I don't know when people like you will understand that this type of links (your fake signature links) either will be deleted or will pass nothing to particular site.

It doesn't take a genius to notice a spinned article. Especially if its intention is promoting a single site.
Increase way of thinking to write the better? This is just plain contradiction to the laziness you're promoting.
A single, well-written and thought-provoking article can outclass hundreds of spinned articles, just for one reason, and one reason alone. Sincerity.

Exactly! Spun articles stick out like a sore thumb. And, it takes forever to spin an article (with all of the brackets, synonyms, etc). I've never understood why people spent more time trying to spin, when you could just rewrite the article!

Don't forget about style.
You're getting great advice so far. I'd also add that you should read Strunk and White's classic, "Elements of Style."
I'm a scientist by day, so Robert Day's "How to Write and Publish a Scientific Paper" has also been very useful. I think non-scientists can also get a lot from it.
Good writing is about passion, knowledge and clarity. No one will ever understand what you're saying if it isn't accessible. Make it so.

Your content needs to be either very informative, or very entertaining.
It's pure gold when you can pull off both.
If I find any answer I was searching for on your site, and you managed to amuse me and make me laugh while doing it.... yeah, I'm loving and linking to your content.

A good writer can do both every time. After all, it's their job to be informative AND compelling. You don't want your content to come across like a textbook. Sure, it would be super-informative, but who would stick around to read it?
The best web content engages readers and keeps them reading until the end (so they can see your resource box, of course! ), while also leaving them with the feeling that they learned something new.

If there’s anything that improves one’s writing skills, it is reading the quality stuff written by others. Other than this, there’s no course or exercise that will enhance your writing. Besides, just like any other art form (yes, writing is an art), you need to have “it” in you, in order to excel as a writer, otherwise it will be a looong, stressful job that's going to drain your mind.
