I am using facebook for promotion regularly and I am getting lots of targeted traffic.

Do networking with your relevant parties who is really interested in your stuff maybe it helps you.

You must have a huge network. You have to work as much as possible hours daily. After 4-5 months you will see benefit. You won't get benefit in some days.

Ionalynn disagrees: Huge networks are not as helpful as smaller TARGETED networks

I have just started to use Facebook as a networking tool.

I have not booked any jobs as of yet but I have found a lot of places to go and people to see who can use my services.

Since I work in visual media I can post images of what I am doing each project and people naturally comment on them.
I have found clothing designers I want to work with on Facebook.
I keep in touch with past clients and models I have worked with.
I have found people to collaborate with and in person networking events to go to.

If what you sell is local then join local groups and use them to meet people in person. If what you sell is global then take a look at your past clients and network with more people that want your product. Networking with those IN your field is good fro learning but not quite as good for finding clients.

One makes money selling sunscreen to nudists, not clothing.
