How to structure backlink text

Hi

I知 starting a new site and I知 going to put out a few backlinks on other sites to get the ball rolling.

I have a list of keywords and terms that I want to hit but what I want to know is how should I structure the link text itself?

Should I put several keywords/terms separated by commas or stick to one keyword/term per link?

Thanks in advance

Stick to one key word or key phrase per link. The first option is not at all a good idea to go with.

I would stick to specific niche keywords which are specific to the products you have on your website.

I would ensure that the webpages you want one-way links to are very well optimised in the sense of on-page optimisation techniques, e.g. keywords in title, keywords in meta tags, correct keyword density on body text etc. This would have a massive contribution towards your rankings within the search engine result pages (SERPs).

Placing a link to a specific webpage on your website is a best bet, rather than linking to the homepage with different keywords.

If your website sells cars for instance, this is what I would do:

Link Text: Ford Fiesta Zetec Sport
Link To: http://yourdomain.com/fordfiestazetecsport.html

The link text is specific to the webpage you are linking to.

Although the term "ford cars" may bring more traffic to your website than "ford fiesta zetec sport" it will be alot easier to optimise for the second phrase as there would be less competition.
