How Do I Track Outbound Links?

I've got several vendors on my website. I am working on the SEO currently. What is a cheap/free way to track how many links I'm sending to another person's website?

I want to keep the link to look the way it is (not shrink it), but I need to verify how many people click several different outbound links.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dave

Are you trying to track the number of outbound links or the number of clicks on those links?

The number of clicks on those links. That way I can say, "Since our SEO boost, we've seen X many more clicks to your website from ours".

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

IIRC they typically use an on-click event to trigger a hit to your data collection server.
