Easy.If you are affected by panda, it means one of two things:
    1) Your content sucks --> solution is to improve it
    2) You sending signals to the algorithm that makes the algorithm think you content sucks --> solution is to improve the sigals

Hummingbird was an infrastructure update; its was not a ranking algorithm update. you were not affected by hummingbird.

Get rid of copied, spun & grammatically incorrect content.

Make sure the content you have up there is not just for filling the empty spaces, but those actually make sense and adds value to your website

Fix your on-site optimization as taught in these forums. Wait a few weeks for rankings. If it was a manual review, trash that site and start all over.

There is a lot of "remove unoriginal content" being said, but one piece I feel is missing from all the comments above is to make sure your pages have ENOUGH content. If you're using a keyword in your H1 tag, then again a couple of times in a single, short paragraph on the page - you're likely over-optimized. Here's another example: you have an ecommerce site with category pages that list products. The only static content on your category pages are the names of the products:

    Red Calculator Tool
    Blue Calculator Tool
    Yellow Calculator Tool
    Green Calculator Tool

In this case you'd be over-optimized for "calculator tool." Make sure every page has ENOUGH content so that a single phrase isn't carrying too much weight. There is no magic number for how many times a keyword should appear in a set amount of text, but if you use the SEO Chat Keyword Density Tool (http://tools.seochat.com/tools/page-...sity-analysis/) and see a single phrase dominating the page, that is a sign to add more content.
