I have too many clients who think they know about SEO and try to send me advice on how to "fix" their sites. Has anyone ever heard about this one before?
A client wanted me to put this on his home page so Google would recognize his keywords... < ! -- webbot bot = "PurpleText" PREVIEW="insert keywords here" -- > He then gave me a list of about 300 unresearched keywords he wanted to stuff in there and rotate every few weeks. Gotta love attempted SPAM :-) What's the strangest thing a client has asked you to do in the name of SEO?

leads me to a question, if such a practice were ignored as im sure it is then is it still spam or just wasted time and increased file size
