<h1> <h2> etc sudden size changes ?
Hi,
I am going thru my site (http://www.sunbreaks.co.uk/default.asp) and removing a lot of the <font> etc coding in favour of H1, H2, and so on. I had my home page completed (well almost) and the main text area filled the layout of the page quite well. But, I have opened the page today to find that most of the <H > tag entries have reduced in size - I know this because the text doesnt fill the page now and it definately looks much smaller to me - too small to comfortably read (in my opinion). My questions are ..... 1. Who sets the default size for H tags across the internet ? 2. What happens if that "person" suddenly decided that all browsers should display H1 tags at 8px, or 30px etc, etc ? The only controls I have is to state that a tag should be ; h3 { font-weight: 220; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px; font-size: 100%; text-align: centre; color: red; } I am new to all of this, so could someone give any feedback - am i missing something really obvious ? Thanks Paul |

1. Make your font-size a static size such as 8pt or 10pt
Quote:
Should be font-size: 8pt -- 2. Do you have a mouse with a scroll wheel? If so - hold down CTRL while slidding the wheel up or down. Hexed
