    Google releases the AdWords API

After days of rumors and speculations Google has released the AdWords API.

Google's free AdWords API service lets developers engineer computer programs that interact directly with the AdWords server. With the applications created, advertisers and third parties can more efficiently - and creatively - manage their large AdWords accounts and campaigns.

    Flexible and Functional
What can you do with the AdWords API? This all depends on your programming genius and clients' advertising needs. Some possibilities might include:

    • Generating automatic keyword, ad text, URL, and custom reports

    • Integrating AdWords data with databases, such as inventory systems

    • Developing additional tools and applications to help you manage accounts

    Multi-Language Compatibility
To make your programming environment even easier, the AdWords API utilizes SOAP and WSDL, which support a growing number of languages - including Java, .NET, Perl, PHP, and XML.

Wow, this certainly could change the way advertising is done for the better on large scale sites with large amounts of pages.

Good to see they've included Java amoung the supported languages, should make it much easier for people to formulate some really neat tools.

    Some tools for Adwords API

Good to see they've included Java amoung the supported languages, should make it much easier for people to formulate some really neat tools.
People can make really useful tools in PHP also. Moreover, there's much help in PHP programming, as a PHP library for easy access to Adwords API is already available. It provides fast and bug-free integration of Adwords API in PHP applications.Check it out here: PHP Adwords API Lib
So PHP programs are one step ahead.
looking forward to other cool tools
