Well, I never thought this myth was true... but I am having second thoughts.
My new site had its main keyword in spot #5 on Google for about a month. Today, it disappeared. Not even in the first 1,000 results. I am hoping it is just some kind of engine hiccup... but things ain't looking good |

Never reject a myth out of hand - I always keep these myths in the back of my mind as possibilities - then test and observe as necessary. Even the most outrageous sounding myth can have a grain of truth in it; sometimes even a mountainload of truth. Be openminded to other ideas. Sometimes it can lead to a learning experience.

Yup... people are asking me "hey, your keyword just vanished, don't you feel like jumping off a bridge?", well, I must say... no. lol, I don't know why, but I am more exited about seeing how this fresh site boost theory is really true. I love it when I can prove something to myself, and not just having to believe all kind of wacky opinions with no real background.
Well... I guess I will be back to sleeping 2 hours each night again... got to get that damn keyword well ranked |
