Enterprise Link Building
When doing link building for an enterprise website, do you all think it is bad practice to have a majority of pages of the site requesting backlinks from the same or similar websites (mostly directories)?
The situation is the client website is basically made up of thousands of pages that basically represent one of their local businesses and the plan is to build out a list of "quality" backlink partners (mostly directories) that someone at the local office can submit to. So if every local office did this and pointed the link to their specific page of the website I could see how that might not look great for an overall backlink profile.

I don't think its bad, but should avoid this because its very time consuming as it doesn't give you expected result (because quality of back links are not good). But if you need back links then it is good.
