Duplicate content issue in template selling site
Hello,
We have a drupal template selling site. It contains many drupal template created by us. The issue is that most of the templates have many common feature.
So the content for respective feature is also duplicating.
Like suppose we have 100 templates in our site and 5 feature are common in every template. SO this will show same content 100 times in different templates.
Is this penalised by search engines?
If yes .Pls let me know possible solution for this.
Thanks

I am not sure I understand your question. Templates are design, not content. Content is what goes inside the design: all the text, images, videos etc. When people talk about duplicate content they typically mean text content.

Hello,
Thanks to take a look in my post.
I will make you more clear on issue.
Suppose we have 10 themes designed and developed for sale (like in templetemoster. Now we have to show features of each theme to customer.
Now here comes the duplicate content issue. Suppose 5 feature or you can say functionality of all theme are same. So description for these functionality will also be same.
So same content will be repeated for same functionality everytime.
You can check site here
drupalchampdotcom
When you click on any theme it will open full page .
Here you can see different features.
Thanks

I'm assuming you are looking to avoid posting duplicate content with regard to product descriptions, my suggestion is use a thesaurus.
