Exclamation Domain clustering affected my site! Need help for the remedy

    Hi

One of my site get caught in the recent domain clustering update.

My site usually get ranked for inner pages i.e., either pdf, doc, or products' inner pages (from 10-200 serp positions) and the website page i.e., home page, relevant page will rank after these kind of results(around 250+) so totally around 100 pages rank for the keyword from my site in Google.

In the domain clustering update, my site is ranking only for pdf, doc kind of pages in top 100 results and the home page are not ranked anywhere in the search query.

How to make changes to get the websites' page to rank early before the pdf, document, product pages...

    Need advice from experts.

    Thanks in advance!!

You need to optimize each PDF. Have you done so? Are the readable to search engines? Do you have a sample we could review?

All I can say with the information you have provided is that your internal links seem to be favouring the pdfs/docs more than the website pages.
So work on the internal linking. Try linking to the internal pages from the Docs/ Pdfs and from other pages on the website. The point is the website pages should get more link juice than the pdfs/docs.

Does it mean that the PDF url is indexable? If is it then the answer is YES!
