Question Do you Compromise DESIGN for SERPs?

With Google - The Title Tag and BACKWARDS HYPERLINKED KEYWORDS make or break a site - so you can still indulge in Design - Images - Flash and still have respectabls SERPs..

BUT YAHOO-O-O

Insists on keyword frequency - and with MSN and AltaVista riding their coat tails (for time being) that's alot of traffic!

Have you had to compromise Design for Yahoo/MSN SERPs?

and have you found your Google Optimization to directly Conflict with your Yahoo/MSN initiatives?

Yes i have found that to optomise a site for google is completely different from yahoo and the rest.
I find that a long description in google is a bad thing but in yahoo it is perfect.

I also find that overspamming of keywords in google is bad but in yahoo it is positvely encouraged to spam by the current results.

Lightbulb Yahoo and Title Tags

YaHOO! does DISPLAY more of the keywords in the Title Tags - and with the acknowlegment for Meta Keywords -there is a definite tactic that one has to use

Yahoo! IS however, slowly modifying its Algorithms to factor in backwards links keywords (but not as much as Google)

But the NEW MSN (preview) seems to be be analogous to WISENUT SERPs - so far - prioritizing Body
Keywords-frequency like you never seen since earyl Yahoo!

Ask.com & Teoma (subject specific popularity ) has been the most unusual out of them all :-?

Yes unfortunately it seems that way, when you gain something on Google for example you might loose something from Yahoo. You will just have to make up your mind to which search engine you will give more credit, so to say
