Different positions in Yahoo & Msn

Hi All

For a few set of keywords I am listed in the top positions in yahoo, Altavista, Alltheweb but for the same set of keyword I am dropped down in MSN, Hotbot, Lycos.
What could be the reason for this.

Please advise on this.

Thanks
Shuba

Different algorithms? Just keep getting more backlinks with keywords as anchor text and you'll rank high in those too.
