Creating web 2.0 blogs, is it good for SEO ?

Hello,

My question is with regards to doing SEO by building web 2.0 blogs.

Is it good to create blogs with unique content and link back to our site ? These blogs will be on a sub domain, such as abc.wordpress.com etc.

What do you think of such an approach ?

What you asked will NOT help!

There is nothing wrong with guest posting on existing relevant blog/sites but simply creating new blogs to submit content to will not help with your seo. Look at it this way, if a friend of your recommended a product or site to you, you would like respect the recommendation, but if a complete stranger recommended a product or site to you, your less likely to think as much of that recommendation.

That's because you know that person and trust them correct!

Well google looks a links in a similar way, they know some sites are trusted sources and will give links from them more weight then links from a site that's not known, that's if google even finds the blog!

Web 2.0 is really very help full in SEO. They give both quality back links and lots of traffic. Some examples are stubmbleupon.com, deicious.com, newsvine.com, wordpress, joomla sites, pintrest etc. or you can say most them are social network sites.

This is very time consuming process,for web 2.0 you have some 10 to 15 well optimized blogs on different channels.Than start your web 2.0 campaign,if one of site isn't index in search engine than you may into trouble and get only backlinks,not for web 2.0.

Yaa definitely... Web 2.0 are very powerful. Unique content always help us as we know. If you made some blogs on some good websites like.. Blogspot, Wordpress, Tumblr, Webs, Weebly, Livejournal...etc. It will surely gonna help you. Just update them on regular basis and try to indexed them by making tier 2 links for those blogs. In some time your blogs will also get ranked and will benefit you a lot.
