Creating an FAQ section for a popular post

    Hey,

If I want to add an FAQ related to a high-ranking blog page, is it better to create a separate blog posting for this or should I just stick it at the bottom?
My fear is that if I create a separate page perhaps I'll be cannibalizing my traffic, but I also don't want the original post to be absurdly long!

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

What is absurdly long in your opinion?

    Hey Doodled,

Yes, I should have specified that. It's currently about 4,000 words, so I'd add another 2,000 or so probably with the FAQ.

There's nothing that absurd with long content. 8,000 word articles are not unusual.

I would frame it in terms of your users rather than SEO - will they find it there, will it be easy to navigate the FAQs, etc. If not break it down over other pages.

OK, thanks for the help! I'll add some page jumps to make navigation easier.
