Cracking the SEO code?

Hi all - well I have been using in the last couple of days this tool here:

And after having shifted a few things around so that:

root keyword density = ~10-13%
actual keyword density = ~5-8%
keyword prominence = >70

I have had amazing success for my words. Now granted, they are not being search 1 million times a month, BUT, Overture says one gets used about 8500 searches a month - and I am now Top 10 on all sites except for Google-based ones (waiting for them to catch the new page).

Now sure back links are still important of course, but the above tips and about 300 words of readable text per page is doing wonders for me right now.

What are the difference between root keyword density and actual keyword density?

in my case, my root is business plan (which I can't do well on due to high competition) and then i focus on my actual keywords: business plan consulting, business plan consultant and business plan preparation.
