Acceleration's Wayne Lieb just published an article about the costs involved with organic search.

Although I feel it is a very good article I do have issues with one thing. I thought it to be a good idea to openly discuss this in this forum.

I am one of those people that believe that SEO involves a big part of the website design as well as online marketing function. If you plan and design your website propperly a large part of your onpage SEO is done. This however is a set standard and not supposed to be done just for SEO. So is that costs supposed to be included in the cost of organic SEO? Besides that. Obtaining links, publishing articles, adding content etc. are all normal online marketing functions. But how much of this gets contributed to the cost of Organic SEO? I am of the opinion that organic SEO costs allot less than people might think. What is the opinion of others about this?
