    Content width issue.

    Hi Experts!
    I Created a blog on wordpress to do R&D's to learn Seo practically but my webmaster shows the issue that is my content width exceeds screen size. Searched on google to fix this issue but failed. Please help me how to fix this. Does it effects the rankings?

    No it won't effect your rankings.

    Since this isn't a SEO question, you'll need to hire a developer or post your question at sites like stackoverflow.

    I have to respectively disagree with you Hikin Mike.

    Content that exceeds screen width is not mobile friendly and will cause problems with Google. Nothing worse than a horizontal scroll bar on a phone. Folks are accustom to having a vertical scroll bar, but horizontal is bad. This basically delivers a bad UX.

    The solution is to use a responsive theme design. You should also never declare static fixed width elements when designing a website today because there are better solutions.

    I agree with KnowOneSpecial... it definitely would affect your ranking. Everything that makes the reader "do extra work" affects ranking since the customer will go away from the page rather than stay and read...
    Bounce rate will increase
    Time on the page will decrease
    Ultimately this will affect your ranking...

    If you use Wordpress... it's an easy fix... Just use a theme that is responsive to your mobile.
