    Competitors rankings

    Hi,
below are the stats of my website and and my competitor's website

    my website:- DA=22.51,PA=34.35, MOZ rank=3.99, Alexa rank=1.38M
    competitor:- DA=12.00,PA=1, MOZ rank=0,Alexa rank=1.35M

In all means my website is superior than my competitor's, still they are organic ranking is far better than mine.
What could be possible scenarios that my website is not ranking better than them.

    Please help!

The most likely possibility is they have a better website.

All the metrics you've posted are essentially useless and have no bearing on how well you rank.

I'm also guessing you've been link building to improve those scores.

Yes we have been doing link building to better our links! if these metrics do not help in ranking then what might?

I'd bet it was your link building.

    Hello sir,
yes sir we have been focusing on link building. But still the results haven't been that good for us. If these metrics/activities don't help, what would you suggest us to do?

That's a huge question really, but to answer it broadly you need to come up with an effective, long-term SEO strategy.

There may be a few possibilities :-
1.) Check Your Onpage again in accordance to your keywords
2.)Check Page load speed of your website
3.) I also think that these metrics are not so authentic

try Guest posting or Press Release on a good website. That will certainly help you with your rankings.

Couldn't agree more. I've seen it countless times that pages with "high scores" were not ranking because of bad on-site optimization in regards to their keyword.
The most common issue I've seen is that people are trying to go two different keywords with the same page. That's a cardinal mistake in my opinion.

There is, IMHO, another possibility: even if you go posting on good websites, and so you see your DA and PA higher, if you use techniques like pushing like hell the same anchor, especially a really optmized one, you'll do more harm than good. So your DA and PA grow, because you got good BL from good websites, problem is, Google now is going really tough on things like these, and you go down in the SERP, since it KNOWS without any doubt that your are doing the LB yourself.
