Competing with domain name keyword.....
I have been doing the SEO thing for 5 years now. I use only white hat techniques and work hard at it. I have a competitor that is ranking for christianconcerts dot com and they beat me for that time when the site does not have much content at all.
It's true that they have been around for 10 years and I am only 1 year old. But when you compare that to christianconcertalerts dot com there is no comparison (IMHO).
Any ideas how to beat them?

Thats pretty significant, and I would guess that they also have some fairly well established links from some reasonably good quality sites.
Quality Content, Quality Links and a Quality usable web site.
