Changing from index.html to index.shtml
I need to change my index file to .shtml from .html
Does anybody know if this can affect SERPS or anything else for that matter. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Add a 301 redirect and the spiders will still find the correct page. As far as whether it'll affect your rankings? Dunno. I recently did this and am still waiting to see what happened...
