    Question Changing content onsite effects

    Hi
i want to know which might be a basic thing for many but it is making me confused that what are the effects of changing the information content(paragraphs for information like about us) on a website page that if this content is changed on regular interval like by every week but keeping other items constant like title description H1 H2 etc all that stuff remains same so does this effect my ranking?
Guiding me on it will be much appreciated.

Making minor changes to a single page content won't impact the ranking that much unless you change the whole content. It all depends upon the relevancy of the updated content so based on it the ranking of the page can go up or down.

It depends on the quality of your content.

The new content is also of good quality and also relevant. The case is like my client keep on changing the complete content of the page which is of good quality and also relevant to the web page. He has a understanding that this will not effect the seo but in my understanding this does effect. Should i be concerned on it and show my concern or let him do this activity.

Changing content can impact your rankings and in a bad way.

But before you go and argue with your client....

Check the rankings for this page, track it for a month or two, get some historical ranking data on the page. This page is supposed to rank for something, now compare the ranking results with the changes in page content. Are the rankings fluctuating, staying the same, dropped off the charts, or climbing the serps.

Now you got informative data to decide if this is good or bad.

Just from how you have described this situation, it sounds sort of like the client wants to blog. Why not incorporate a blog into the site. Just a thought....

There is no reason to change content this often. Tell him to take up golf. Having no knowledge of SEO he will eventually affect the rankings doing this, whether good or bad.

Dont change the content so frequently ...analyse the website after changing the content for 2-3 months.... Content must be unique and relevant to the website. Putting quality content will help you to get user attraction
