hi primedias,
no it is not going to affect your PR. neither chage of hosting nor layout going to affect your PR. It is not going to affect your PR unitll you change your domain. PR is concern with domain name only.. if you have any doubts, get back regards N D Vakil |

It could be, indirectly... If people remove their links to your site (for it being too old - but I doubt 3 months will scare them). When you start losing inbound links, your PR could fall.
Also, many here have reported their site (home page) to lose PR completely, only to see it returned after a week or so. No need to worry for now. |

Wanted to ask the same question
Even I wanted to clarify that if my website are hosted on canadian servers with Netfirms and I gain a PR of 5. Later if i decide to change my hosting servers, will that effect on my PR as the index file will be shifted to some other servers.
Any comments would be appreciated |

I don't think it would have any effect and search engines would read the site on new server. Just keep the old server with all the files for a week or so. When you change the server for few days you could see the the crawler hits to the old server but it stops once search engine recognises the new one. We have done it with no problem.

changing hosting shouldn't be a problem, just try to make sure you have your pages on the new server before editing the dns for your domain.
You won't lose pr just because you haven't updated in a while, unless ofcourse people stop linking to you |

Have a look at some of the old sites in dmoz. They havent been updated for 4-5 years and they have 5 6 7 pagerank. They no longer show up high in search engines, but i am not sure this is because they havent been updated. |
