In other words, it depends on your keywords competition and budget etc! For example, if you was targeting a keyword with very low competition it would be a lot easier to rank for on a small budget they it would be to rank for "money" which would take a lot of time and money.

If you provide some more details such as:

• the keyword(s) in questions
• your budget
• if your onsite seo is up to scratch
• if you know how and where to build/earn quality links

Then people may be able to advice a rough time they think it could take them, but as we don't know you, how you work, what your site is or anything, its impossible to tell you just how long it would take to rank xyz.

If you targeted some high competition keyword than you have to push up your seo campaign in to first gear.Use conventional seo methods like quality link building on quality sites like ezinearticle or hub.

There is no specific medicine for this problem. First you have to provide good content on your site. Bounce rate of your site must be low. Then try to get backlinks from some authoritative sites. Don't over optimize certain keyword, otherwise it will not even show in top 100.

It purely depend on your targeted keywords if the targeted keywords have high competition then it takes probably one year. This will not happen in one day night. So much of link building strategy should be put to get better results.

Yes of course you can increase rankings in 2 months. 2 months is plenty of time but it depends on a number of factors such as the age of your domain, the number of links you have, how relevant your on page SEO is and the competitiveness of your keywords. But of course you can go from page2 to page1 in 2 months if you are doing the right things.

I am agree, as most of the people said above its depend on your keywords. If its highly competitive it will take time to get ranked on top of serp but if your keywords are low competitive or average competitive then 2 month time is enough to archive the ranking.
