Can a link to a SERP show up in a SERP?
Question: Can a link to a SERP show up in a SERP?
Example: A user googles "nitrogen mustard" and finds that the Bing search results page for "nitrogen mustard" shows up on Google results.
http://www.bing.com/search?q=nitrogen+mustard&form=QBRE&qs=n&sc=1-16
Is this possible? Do search engines ban search engine pages from being listed?

SEs don't ban other search engines from getting searched.. but i don't think they show results from the results of other SEs.. oh my that's confusing..

I don't think any search engine will show other search engine results.
BUT, try in Bing "webmster tool" you will get google's results.
Not sure BUT maybe....just check.

Followup:
I built a few links to the following URL:
http://www.bing.com/search?q=drone+offensive
However, Google did not index the page. It did index pages that contained the link, but not the SERP itself.
This leads me to assume SERPs are not indexed in SERPs. =)

Imagine what would happen to search if Google's index tried to include the SERPs from all searches and return them with the other search results, and index those in turn and return them with the other search results and index those in turn... you get the picture.

I know what would happen. It would be an infinite loop!
