Cool Building a Link Exchange Directory

I'm wondering if you can help...

I'm building a link exchange directory and would like to hear from you. What sites are noteworthy and produce results?

Be sure to visit my blog and leave comments or contact me directly, I'm presently building a link exchange directory and would love your input!!

PS: I'm a new user and not allowed to post urls, just click on my name and view my website or google: marketing resource centre link exchange

...and you'll find my blog and can contact me through there.

Thanks!!

Agree with dzine & JV and I own a PR5 niche directory.

My suggestion? instead of LED, build engaging community around your content.

Directory submission is complete waste of time, I think you need to concentrate for attract links for that you will have to put informative content on your website.

Unless maybe if it's a super-secret Link Exchange directory with top notch moderation and super senses to keep the SE engineers out. Oh and of course the link exchanges themselves would have to be either very innocent-looking or very clever/diverse.

Question

Interesting feedback. I've dabbled with various SEO software and spoken to various SEO experts and they all emphasize the importance of link building and link exchanges.

What I'm hearing is that link exchanges are a total waste of time?

What about links from social media sites?

You can get "a wee little return" from exchanges but it isn't worth the effort you pour into it.

are suggesting site like forum? i think that's a better idea than LED because nowadays, directory are no longer plays important role in link building because social sites are more effective that that kind of submission.
