    It's not Brin and Page people should be worried about...it's the mid-level folk that suddenly are worth 7-8 figures and begin to have trouble focusing on the importance of working 60-80 hours a week when they could simply retire and sail around the world. This is a very real problem; it'll be interesting to see how Google overcomes it in the near term.

    majority shares of majority mid-level managers aren't vested yet. They can't sell their shares, they have to work harder than ever.

    Yes, they will more than likely be share options, which means they will have to work at the company for another 2-3 years before they can purchase the stocks...

    but none the less it won't be as fun working for google anymore

    think of the productivity at google on ipo day. their computer screens are probably going to be fixed on all of the stock sites.
