Bots visit my site but don't show any activity

Several bots visit my site since i updated the content from a flashmovie to a 'real' site with content, i used urchin and the apache logs to see what they were doing and it basically comes down to nothing. I use normal textlinks and js mouse_overs, so iam using both ways to get my whole site spidered, but the bots do nothing but a few visits a day without finding subpages. One exeption is the yahoobot, it visits the old pages were i mirrored some client sites but doesn't crawl the new pages.

Is my site hard to spider or does it take time for bots to spider the whole new site. The URL has been up and indexed for a year but again only contained a flashintro movie saying the site was undercontruction (flash so unreadable for searchengines) now the site is fully html based and 95% is w3c valid.

When did you remove the flashmovie and start using HTML??

Also how many backlinks do you have?? (goto Google and type in link:www.yoursite.com to get the total amount of backlinks)

The flashmovie is replaced after almost a year a week ago. I just started working on my linkpopulairity, so for now i only have a few pretty worthless links, like links from subs in forums i post, total of that is 49 found by the link: tag.

Give it time. They start moving around soon enough. Get links to your interior pages also and not just the homepage.
