Benifits of Social Posting/Networking?

Ok so I have new articles every week

I have created a Facebook group
And post my articles everywhere (digg and about 10 other 10 places) and in forums as well

I know the latest fad is this stuff and I know it gives relevant links from high valued sources, gives you exposure without SEO

Some branding and marketing

What other benefits, what else can I do in social networking

For me this is pretty straight forward and I do get results but what am I missing as it seems to easy

Is that all there is to this social networking and social posting phenomena?

Is ther something more i can do

I highly recommend utilizing twitter. It is a social network that is still growing and will continue to become bigger for brand marketing.

Be patient, with growing your followers, just keep posting your updates and they will come.

The main benefit from social bookmarking is, you can get good traffic to your site. The way of doing bookmarking matters a lot.

You DO get good traffic to your site. And there is nothing as important as that.

I think there are sites aggregating the RSS and sites republishing your rss content on other sites. I personally tried to use one but my blog was rejected. I can not remember it now.

Yes, much more. In order to establish a brand you have to actually use social networking sites the way they were intended - by really socializing on them. Don't just post a link and add a few friends - actively participate, engage in discussions with other members, post on their comments, etc.,and build a complete social network. By becoming involved you will see a much greater return on the time you invest in these social sites.
