Backlinks and which page they should link to.
I'm curious to see what you all think about this.
I have a site with different pages of content. I'm in the midst of building a link exchange app and would like to know if it's better to have the other sites just link to my home page, or specifically link to the page that has the relevant content. example. a user would choose "Category A" recip link which would link to "category A" and have a description of my "category A" content page. Or is it best to just keep them linking to my home page? |

If there is greater relevance on the specific page and you are looking at themed links, chances are you are better off linking to the specific pages. It may tend to dilute your efforts, but you should be better off this way. It's not about simply creating links any more.

I link to content pages, unless the main page has a decent amount of content for the targetted term...otherwise, always the page w/ the best content.....
