Backlinking for Developing Site
Hi, i am in discussion with a guy in London who says that backlinking for developing site should be started even if the content is not proper, missing, images are not fine. He arguments that once everything is setup Google will crawl again and will give a boost. What are your opinions?

In my opinion, if it will be, say, four weeks until your site is properly ready, just wait until your site is done. Otherwise what will your visitors think? They are unlikely to buy from a broken, half done website. Not exactly inspiring trust is it. If you think it will be months and your site is live anyway whatever state it is in, then your guy in London does have a point. As for Google crawling, Google visits my sites almost every day so I wouldn't worry about Google not knowing what is going on, they will. As a new site you will probably be sandboxed (if you believe in that) for a while anyway. I wouldn't do formal site submissions until your site is finished, but if google finds you anyway then there is no real harm is there?
If the guy in London is charging you for services, I would hold off until your site is done. Of course he will want you to start straight away so he can start billing you.
Hope that helps in some way,
PS post a link and I can give you a firmer opinion :-)

There will not be the best one to generate back links for half done websites. You have to completely develop website so that visitors can see some content on your website, this will be beneficial for the website promotion.
