B2B SEO - Secure Site
Hello All,
I just came on board as an SEO for an eCommerce site. Having worked with a B2C I am not quite sure how to optimize a B2B when the site is mostly secured web pages.
In a very competitive field, the site does not place pricing on the pages and requires a registered account to properly view.
Can I optimize site pages (and have it work) with good copy, alt text, meta information, title tags, etc., even though it's secure? Maybe it won't matter for natural SE rank?
I'm hoping to come up with a solution as I would eventually like to get into a PPC campaign down the line (and the owners really want to dive into CSE's), - but those might be dead-ends due to not being able to be properly compared - esp. w/CSE.
I've searched and searched for ideas/suggestions on the secure site issue and haven't found a lot of information. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (or a good read?)
Thanks!
