Lightbulb Article posts or site content

I have quite a few articles written for me and wanted to know if they would help me best by submitting them to article sites or posting them on my blog which is attached to my site.

What do you all think?

If you blog has a lot of traffic. Then do so. If your blog do not have a lot of traffic you can share your articles between submiting to articles sites and your blog. After move your post to social networks, create google alerts and wait for the result

If they are good quality and i am guesing they are as you have paid for them. Put them on your own site. Having great content is THE best way to attract quality links.

If you post them on an article site then you run the risk of being out ranked by one of your competitors who is using your own material. A guy on this site had exactly the same problem the other day. He had allowed a site to scrape some of his content in return for a link, thinking that this would aid his rankings. Only to find out a short time later that he had dropped significant ground in the serps. If this happens the effect can be hughe. Not only do you have to worry about loosing a place or two in the serps but also have to consider that google hates to display duplicate information. They are in my opinion therefor unlikely to even place you on the same page.

In Short

Use the content on my blog, link it to my main site content and then Social Bookmark it. Does that sound like the best way ?

If they are great quality put them on your site. If they are crap get a refund.

You might want to do both. Publish first on your blog because your own content should never suffer when you have the time to add it to other sites, if it's good, republish it under a different title and slightly modified text content to decent article submission directories.

Remember often its not the quality of a document. Its how much pazazz you put on it, it's often who you know, too, to get it noticed.
