Advice on this Google report

I just recevied an email offering a step-by-step guide on how to mantein and improve my Google rankings. I am quite new to SEO and therefore would value any advice from someone who has had access to this document. Is it worthy the money they ask for, or just another scam to fool novices like me ?

site is http://seosos.com/cgi-bin/frame.htm?/google.htm

cheers

If you read information from a book you will always run behind the facts...

Understanding a search engine...analising the high ranked websites with
specific queries....(and to get close to the google algorithm) will bring
you much further..

And then you will know also the difference if google changes this algorithm since you can compare the old and the new top ranked pages...

regards, hans

i think a book is a good way to learn the basics and fundamentals. Then you need to keep up with the changes in this 'dynamic' topic.

And i recommend this book to begin:

This site is just another example of how fast is the googles algo evolving. That guys examples on big **** ranking don't work anymore, he is now on 42nd position...
The best resource are always search engine results itself. What are the backlinks of top sites? How are they linked? What are their titles, keywords, etc? What has changed compared to last update?
For theory I suggest http://pr.efactory.de/ or browse through http://www.elgoog.nl resources

If you received it in the email...then no..DO NOT BUY IT under any circumstances. Even if you want a larger @#^!$ don't buy the magic pill from an email. In fact posting the link on a forum just made some big bucks for a spammer.

The copy ad for this product looks well written, but I would automatically dismiss it from the source.

If one out of ten thousand people reply to a spam, then the spam was a success and will generate a million more spams just like it.
