Hi,

I have writing meta tags for my client site.

Which Meta Tags have been used to be best and its features.


Kindly provide the meta tags, which is helpful to index my site google.

first you have decide your targeted keywords. then write meta tags and find and study about your competitor meta tag how they use. put your main target keyword in first because google give high priority for first keyword rather than second keywords.
and most important thing is that write different and unique title and description for each and every pages.

tstolber disagrees: Google does not give higher priority to any META Keyword. Its guidelines tell you that it does not
use them!

if you want to get index on google, its much better to focus on link building your site than thinking of what to place on your meta tags.

What have you come up with so far, Haribabu? Are you using any meta tags that can help you "shape" your sites?
Like for example <META HTTP-EQUIV="content-type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=utf-8">

Or are you hoping (in vain - I fear) that other meta tags will help you rank higher just because you added them?

Meta tag doesn't help in website index.
add google site map and site map.
submit your website in SB site submit your website in DIgg has do follow but remember add it proper category.
It is very effective for indexing.

Hi,
There in no special Meta Tag for Google so you add Meta according to your site keywords...

just maintain unique meta descriptions on each page, and if you want to include a keyword meta then keep it short and sweet.

overall, meta descriptions/KWs are not going to help ya so don't spend a lot of time on them.

Meta tags describe the content on each page of your website so that when a person types their search into a search engine, the search engine looks for websites with the same Meta tags as they have asked for.
So there are no special Meta Tags for Google.
